Summer luvin..

It just hit me that summer is coming to an end, and I have no idea where the time went. So, I thought it would be a good idea to go through my pictures and see what we have done in the last few months.

To start off at the end of April- my Dad got married, for the 4th (and hopefully last) time :). Him and Trina were married in St. George, UT and it was beautiful. She is a wonderful, beautiful lady, and I think my Dad is super lucky to have her. This was Kaylie's first duty of being a flower girl, and she did a great job, except for the fact that she kept tripping over her dress walking up the isle and she kept saying "I'm going to a party!". haha, she didn't really know what was going on.

In May we took the kids to go see the Bellagio water show for the first time. Kaylie loved it, but Hunter got scared of the fountains. Grandma Warren also treated us to Sesame Street Live, and of course the kids acted like it was a rock show. We had a lot of fun. Since then Kaylie has been a huge Elmo fan.

Robert won tickets to go see Nitro Circus live, which was awesome. We have always loved their show, and if you know my husband, he is a huge motocross fan. Since my sister spent the night to watch the kids we thought it would be fun to stay out late and walk to strip, since we hadn't done that in years...and now we remember why. haha. We had a good time, after the show we walked down to Paris from MGM and got some gellato. After that it was already after 1:00am and we were done for, so we took the train back, and felt cool that we stayed out after midnight. Oh, and if you can't tell, we pretty much had the best seats!

My little sister Sara and my Brother-in-law Hunter Bean got married on June 21st. It was fun since I knew almost everyone at the wedding, which is a first, and Kaylie was a flower girl again. My camera was dead, so I stole a couple of pictures from Sara. We are still waiting on all of our family pictures, and hopefully pictures of Kaylie! Robert and my brother-in-law Robert were groomsmen along with Hunter's brothers from his platoon. It was great being able to meet and hang out with them while they were here.

My Father-in-Law married them. They are such a gorgeous couple!

I love you guys!!

Here are the cupcakes that i made for her Bridal shower. They look better in person, but i did half with silver sprinkles, a fourth with rings, and the other fourth said "I Do".

July is always an eventful month for us with mine and Hunters birthday, and our anniversary. Hunter turn 1 on July 5th. We celebrated with Roberts family on the 4th of July. We brought over our smoker that morning and Robert got to work smoking up a brisket and some ribs all day. It was sooo good! The kids all had fun playing together, we all ate way too much, and did our tradition of lighting fireworks and eat watermelon. We brought a highchair outside so Hunter could go to town on his little birthday cake. He ate ALL the frosting, and barely ate any cake. He was completely opposite of Kaylie on her 1st birthday, kaylie did not want to get messy, but Hunter loved it.

I don't have any pictures, but we had a great 4 year anniversary. I took the kids over to my Dad and Trinas house to spend the night, and Robert and I had a staycation over at Aliante Station. They have an online deal for 1 night stay, 2 free buffet and 2 movie tickets for $80. We took full advantage and had a great time. It was weird being away from the kids, it was my first time away from Hunter and the only time I have been away from Kaylie overnight was when I was in the hospital having Hunter. We really needed it though. The room was so nice, I think we will do it again.

I turned 26...(i had to think about that one, i forget how old i am) on July 27th. When Robert got home from work he watched the kids so I could go get a much needed pedicure and then we met up with my brother and sister-in-law, and my best friend and her hubby over at BJ's. I love that place, and was happy to get my free PaZzOokIe! (I am so fat, i know) I also got myself a new phone and some new cooking pans!

The week before my birthday I took the kids up to Utah to stay at my moms. While we were there, we took the kids to Hogel Zoo. Kaylies favorite part were the elephants and riding on the carousel. It was so nice to spend a week hanging out with my mom and Sara. Hunter had to go back out to Germany after their honeymoon, so my sister is doing her clinicals with the Vet up there in Mt. Pleasant until she can go out to Germany with him. It is always nice to get out of the heat too. The kids loved playing outside with the dogs, swinging, and feeding the horses their 'snacks'. While we were there we took the kids to their first drive-in movie to see Cars 2, and took them swimming to the Manti pool right by the Manti temple. Kaylie keeps talking about how she went swimming at the temple, and everyone gets confused, but that is what she is talking about.

This past weekend Robert really wanted to get out of the heat, and take the kids up to our Duck Creek cabin. Robert showed Kaylie how to roast a marshmallow for the first time and took the kids on 4wheeler rides. I enjoyed relaxing and i read the book 'The Help'. I wanted to finish it before the movie came out, and now i can't wait to see the movie.

I think the rest of our summer will be spend with more cabin trips, and I am crossing my fingers for going to the lake! Happy Summer!
