Last month I celebrated my 23rd birthday. I was a great weekend because my mom and little sister came down from Utah and stayed with us. I was so grateful to have my mom there at that time! I had been so sick, and I was getting nothing done around the house, and she completely spoiled me by cleaning and cooking for me while she was here! We were also lucky to have my little niece Hailey with us over the weekend. The poor girl is away from her parents right now, so she has been living with my sister-in-laws parents. She is such a sweetie and we had a blast with her. For my birthday Robert got me a sweet high definition video camera to have when the baby gets here. I was so excited.. and now I just need to learn how to use it! haha. I will have to post some pictures up later!
Another thing that has been an adventure in our lives is Robert's process in getting a new job. We decided that we wanted to do what we can to sell the business and get Robert into the police academy. While we were trying to figure things out, Robert got a call from the FBI inviting him to test for them to be an Albanian linguist! It couldn't have been a more perfect time! He actually applied right when we got married, just over a year ago, and he just NOW got a call!! He took the first part of the test last week, and we just got an email saying that it takes about 8 weeks just to process that part, and then he can go onto the second part of the testing! It will be a very long process, but if it ends up working out then it will be well worth it for our family! We are just keeping our fingers crossed that it will work out. This is Roberts #1 dream job. Since he got home from his mission from Albania he has been wanting to work with the language.
I just thought I would put up this cute picture of my husband as a missionary! :)

Oh girl, I am so sorry to hear that you havent been feeling very well...I dont know if you tried "preggo pops" yet, but they actually seemed to help me a little bit. You can get them at Motherhood Maternity at the mall! I am also glad to hear that you had a great birthday! What a perfect gift too! That will definitely come in handy when the baby comes along! Just remember to bring it to the hospital when the time comes...unlike us this last time...lol! Oh, and that is awesome about the great job offer! I didnt know he went to Albania on his mission! I hope and pray that it will work out for you guys!...Me, you and Lara need to get together sometime too! I also really want to take you to Olive Garden for their soup/salad lunch once a month till the baby comes! It is a silly tradition that I do with my pregnant friends! So when that food starts sounding good to you, lets plan a day!
Next Friday totally works for me too! Me, you, Lara and our boys should go to lunch at Olive Garden so I can treat you (I have been craving it too...that was funny about how you asked Robert to take you there...totally a guy thing). Then maybe if its okay with Lara we can stop by her house (or mine too...I just live on the other side of town and would hate to ask you girls to drive so far) and we can show you the wonderful world of digital scrapbooking....its so awesome and I think you will love it!!! So if that works for you, lets plan on next Friday at about 11? I will ask Lara if that works for her too!
That is like the coolest thing I have ever heard!
