Raging Hormones + Tropic Thunder = My Wednesday Night

So for the past however many months, Robert and I have been so stoked to go see Tropic Thunder. We decided to go see it last night on the opening night. So Robert drops me off at the front and I went to go run in and get our tickets. Since I had my small purse I took my wallet out and just took my cash so I could fit our delicious treats. So I get up to the counter and ask for 2 tickets for the movie and here is the conversation with me and the stupid boy working;
"Ok, that will be $20. Are you 21 or over?" says the stupid boy.
"Ya, I'm 23." I said.
"Can I see your ID?"
"Why, I don't have it with me."
"I need to see your ID because the movie is rated R"
"Ummm.. Don't you need to be 17?!?" Here is where my pregnancy rage starts kicking in.
"Yes, so I need to see your ID."
"UMMM I AM A 23 YEAR OLD MARRIED WOMAN, I CAN GUARANTEE YOU THAT I AM OVER 17!!"
"Is your other party over 17, because I need to see someones ID?"
"MY 24 YEAR OLD HUSBAND?!? YES HE IS AND HE IS PARKING THE CAR RIGHT NOW!!!"
"Well I need to enforce some rules. So you can wait to the side till he come back."
He was just so stupid and smug the way he was talking to me, I was so close to reach in and choke him!! So I saw Robert come by so I waved at him and told him that he needed to show this idiot his ID. haha. Robert was so confused he didn't know what was going on, so he did. The guy didn't even look at me, and just handed Robert the tickets. So as we walked away I said "I AM GOING TO ENFORCE MY FIST IN HIS FACE!!!" There was a worker there that looked at me all shocked, but I don't think the kid heard me!!
So we get in a sit down and I am still FUMING about this stupid kid who thinks he has all the power in the world because he probably just got his first job ever in his life!! I couldn't let it go, I kept telling Robert all the things I should have said and how I wanted to go back there and tell him off. hahaha... I have never ever acted like that before or talked to a stranger that way and I just started laughing at myself.
Thankfully as soon as the movie started I forgot about all the crazy rage I had just felt. The very beginning of the movie I was laughing so hard. SERIOUSLY, You have to see this movie!!! After it was over Robert and I could not stop laughing and talking about it! We want to go see it again this weekend! I can't think of a movie as good and funny as this one. There are so many things that you wouldn't expect, and the funniest parts are not in the previews.
SO GO SEE IT!! If you don't think it's funny, then you need to go die in a library reading a book!!! :)
