March 2012

The end of March the kids and I drove up north to Nana's house for a week. My brother Scott and his wife went on a trip to Russia so my mom and dad watched their 5 kids for a few days while they were gone. I thought it would be fun to bring the kids up to play with their cousins and help my mom out a little. It was a fun and crazy week. We spent a fun afternoon in Palisades park, have a fun "drive-in movie night" (thanks to Pinterest for the idea), celebrated Stella's 4th birthday, and on our last day with them we drove up to Salt Lake and took them to the Aquarium. After we hung out at the Aquarium we headed over to port of subs for lunch then said our goodbyes to everyone, headed over to the airport and picked up Robert. That night we attended our first reunion for Roberts Albanian mission. It was fun and great to meet a couple of his old companions and to finally meet his Mission President, President Colton that I always heard so much about. He had some great things to say about Robert, and even found out that we were somewhat related. We got a hotel in SLC that night and the next day drove down to New Harmony to spend the rest of the weekend with Roberts family and watched General Conference.
